To anyone reading this FYI this page has be edited and had parts deleted by other users to cover up there actions.... The sections that Claims I was a different user are false... The following people: Keilana, MBisanz, Dreadstar, AndonicO and W. Frank. put blocks on my account to stop me from voting, to keep me from lodging a complaint against them... to stop me from rasing issues that they disagreed with... To stop commpaints about their action.

They provided false infomation claiming and informing other that decisions that had not been made when it was not the case blocked me claiming I was someone else... Blocked me claiming there was information that a block should have been place and then left note saying that they made a mistake but none of them removed the block... Basicly they acted shady and together I feel Keilana, MBisanz, Dreadstar, AndonicO are infact the same person. Keilana in an email told me she is god and has many personality,s on wikipedia including Dreadstar, AndonicO. She cames she can not be stoped and can not be control;ed as she will just use her other idents to restore herself... Information to all who read this!!

Hello. Sorry I couldn't attend to your concerns earlier. I semi-protected the page (here) because of the reasons stated there. As it is election season in the United States, articles about prominent political figures such as Mrs. Clinton are particularly vulnerable, hence the protection. There was a dispute over the reliability of sources, and I protected the article to cool the dispute. Protection isn't an endorsement of the current version, I have no ulterior motive. (see here for protection policy/information). In general, an admin doesn't need consensus to protect a page when a dispute is ongoing. Is there a problem with my administrative actions? As you said you wished for them to be "examined", you may seek further opinion at WP:AN or request the removal of my admin access here. Thanks for expressing your concerns, feel free to ask on my talk page if you have other questions or need something. Best, Keilana|Parlez ici 06:18, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article was brought to my attention through a routine request at the protection board. If I may ask, how are my comments on MBisanz's talk relevant? Keilana|Parlez ici 06:24, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Page protection Keilana, can you please explain why you have semi protected the page Huma Abedin ? You have stated vandalism which is clearly not the case! Please see Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard where the matter is being dealt with ! Can you explain your actions ? I understand I am new here but it was one of the first pieces of information i have cont. to wikipedia there has been no decision made, I can not understand your actions !

Having now had the rules for vandalism explained to me I believe you have abused your power as my contib. clearly dosent fit any of the terms ? I ask you to reaccess your actions.

The decision was made at Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Huma_Abedin_.28edit.7Ctalk.7Chistory.7Clinks.7Cwatch.7Clogs.29. Its common practice during an edit dispute such as this for an uninvolved admin such as Keilana to semi-protect the page to reduce the intensity of the dispute. In any case, from the tone of Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Gossip_magazines_as_reliable_sources it seems that semi-protection was the right call to stablize the article while discussion continued there and on the talk page of the reliability of sources. MBisanz talk 05:36, 31 January 2008 (UTC) I would question how uninolved you actally are give these messges left on my talk page: And don't worry! You'll be able to edit that page in 5 days! I will also ask you to explain you relastionship to those who have sort to remove the information ? I would also like to know why you have changed you id ? thanks I will be adding this information to the talk page and any were else i find help ! I also note you did not add the fact the matter was being listed to protection page to the talk page of the article ?

I did not create the name of the page in regards to gossip mag tittle had you read the info you would understand Hillary Clinton was interviewed for the article.

To request unprotection, please go here Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Current_requests_for_unprotection. To ask for Keilana to be examined(?) I'd wait for her to respond here, and if your not satisfied, there is the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard. I leave the personal inquiries for Keilana to answer is she desires to. MBisanz talk 06:13, 31 January 2008 (UTC) Responded on the editor's talk, thanks MB. Keilana|Parlez ici 06:17, 31 January 2008 (UTC) I would like to know how the article was brought to your attention I would also advise you that i have posted this information on the talk page of the article.

Thank you Dear MBisanz, thank you so much for responding to those concerns on my talk page. I've posted on the person's talk, if s/he wants my admin actions looked at s/he can always seek input at AN or (God forbid) through recall. You've been a great help recently, and when you're ready for RfA I'd really like to nominate you, if you've got some space for me. :) Best, Keilana|Parlez ici 06:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Who bought the information to the protect board ? Should not the fact it was brought to the board have been added to the talk page so people could provide information as to why it shouldnt be protected ? I was again note you claimed your reason for protecting the page was vandelism which it clearly is not! How do I request a recall ? Thanks : )

Hi. The person who brought the request was User:Skomorokh. Usually in cases such as these, no rationale beyond what was provided is needed. If you wish to file recall against me, you need to inform me that that is your intent, then post on User:Keilana/Recall in the "For Requesting Recall" section. You then may follow the instructions in the Criteria section and Process section, please ask if you have any questions. Keilana|Parlez ici 06:44, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
No, I have talked to no-one off-wiki about this issue. Keilana|Parlez ici 06:54, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
The page would've been protected anyways, regardless of my rationale. I think it's irrelevant at this point. Keilana|Parlez ici 07:03, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've examined the history and there was clear reason to protect Huma Abedin. I suggest you relax and have a cup of tea. Dreadstar 07:26, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. Apparent misrepresentation

edit

Hello. In this edit and also this one, you appear to be adding a message signed by some user other than yourself. This may have just been accidental, but anyway you should not do it, or appear to do it, again. -- Hoary (talk) 09:00, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You then did it again. If you continue, some user (perhaps me) will regard this as deliberately disruptive, and take appropriate measures. Please don't waste other people's time, or your own. -- Hoary (talk) 09:57, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Pairadox (talk) 07:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC) Scratch that; I must have looked at the wrong tab in my browser. Sorry! Pairadox (talk) 07:14, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Whups!  :) Dreadstar † 07:20, 31 January 2008 (UTC) Wow this was a mess. Hopefully it's sorted. Keilana|Parlez ici 07:22, 31 January 2008 (UTC) I have note all the information on my page and intend to lodge a compliant against you and request recall. You yourslef have stated "He seems bent on my protection rationale - not the best," He is a she FYI. Had you read the information on the Biographies_of_living_persons you would see the person making claim clearly has no case and is clutching at straws! I dont understand how stating that something was printed has turned into this ? I dont get why you would get together with people to ban me for fake reasons ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 100%freehuman (talk • contribs)

Here Keilana, use mine. Dreadstar † 08:25, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

User page question

edit

It appears that your user page was deleted as a housekeeping measure, since it looks like just a collection of old conversations. Copying conversations from elsewhere out of context can be confusing to other editors. If you'd like to keep a personal archive of previous conversations, you could do so using a user subpage, such as User:100%freehuman/old conversations. (That's an actual usable link, if you wished to use it, you can just click on that and create that page, which will be a subpage of your userpage.) You may wish to see the userpage guidelines for what is generally acceptable and expected on a user page, and browse the userpages of established editors with whom you communicate to get some additional clarity. Many editors also like to archive their talk pages, you're welcome to use my talk page as an example of how to set up a talk archive. I see you've had a bit of a rocky start here; I hope that you can get things sorted. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Seraphimblade Talk to me 12:28, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Possibility of unblocking

edit

Following a reasonable discussion with other admins, it seems a number of people disagree with this block, and yet there are concerns regarding unblocking you. I am willing to unblock you if you agree to the following terms:

  1. You will take a break from Wikipedia, or at least from the disputed areas (including the discussions with various admins over your block and protection complaint, and the original article) for about 2 days. This is just a common sense idea - you are obviously super stressed-out by Wikipedia right now and it's hard to be productive here when you're so stressed.
  2. Drop the recall request against Keilana, and don't request anyone else's de-sysopping. It requires a lot of community effort to promote people to admin status here, and admin status is generally not taken away from anyone absent a long-term history of abuse or poor decision making. Individual mistakes are corrected by being undone. Try not to hold this whole situation against the admins -- they're human too and make rash decisions, and your nearly-immediate request for recall raised eyebrows.
  3. Don't edit war. You were previously an IP editor (it's obvious which one) and had been trying to force changes onto Huma Abedin by making those changes repeatedly. This is not the way to resolve differences of opinion. Follow the bold-revert-discuss cycle when your edits aren't accepted. The article ended up protected because you were edit warring.
  4. Read and understand the Wikipedia policy about biographies of living people. The edits you were making were objected to on those grounds. There can be reasonable disagreement over points like that but it's essential that you at least read and understand the policy. See also WP:NOT#NEWS.
  5. As you are new and have unintentionally gotten started badly here, there is an experienced editor, User:John Carter, who has offered to adopt you and help you learn the ropes here. I suggest you agree to that.

I'd happily unblock if you tried to follow Mangojuice's terms. · AndonicO Hail! 18:21, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mangojuice,

I thank you for the offer I would appreciate if you would remove the block but not for the term you have stated as the reason given for them is false I have not and am not a sock puppet I have not, did, not and will not harass anyone I am new I know that I’ve said that , I make no claims of knowing anything about wikki, If someone say this is the rules for this…and then I read them and they don’t fit of course I’m going to ask for an explanation. If they wont answer the question and keep saying you can recall me if you want. I think it pretty clear the person who isn’t getting the information is going to ask for that.

That is how people learn.I didn’t come here to fight with people.

If someone gets someone blocked by “mistake” as Keilana did then you say sorry to the person its human decency. You don’t write woops : ) lol on your friends page and then say nothing leaving a blocked mark on there file. I’ve made no denial the I was the person at that ip that added the information. I was reading the magazine while my cousins were looking up Clinton I saw the link to Huma we added the information it was our first add and they wanted to check it later and it was gone.. As for the information I could care less about but if I teach them this is the rules this is why that was done…..If they don’t match something is wrong. The history is all there to see… there seems to be some confusion regard Australian mags and US ones…. It clear as day the reason listed are wrong if you wish to remove the block to keep inline with the rules then I would welcome that. I thank you for taking the time and actually being human about this ! Could you thank the others in the group that actually looked at it and the rules… Thanks

I would like you to remove the block so my little cousins can use it if they want,

I personally have had my experience at this and found it very bitter, unkind, and unpleasant and not something I would like to continue. If you want to leave it on for a couple of day I’m not fussed , I am kind of interested in how Jimmy Wales will respond as I’m sure this is not what he intended.

Anyhow once again thank you for reaching out and being human.

Peace to you. 100%freehuman (talk) 18:50, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I can't say I'm surprised to hear you say that. If you change your mind later and want to be unblocked, post another request or email me. I understand not wanting to agree to terms in order to have an unjustified block be overturned... I only asked for your agreement so that it would be clear to others that you weren't out to cause more trouble, so that my unblocking you wouldn't be controversial, and I won't ask for any terms once this has blown over. As for your little cousins: Wikipedia accounts are supposed to be used by only one person, so if they want to edit Wikipedia they should create their own accounts and not use yours. And also, just be aware that Wikipedia is not censored for the protection of minors, so depending on their ages, Wikipedia may not be a good idea for them (but of course that's up to their parents). Mangojuicetalk 19:22, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you mangojuice I didn’t think id write this next bit when joining wikki “I won’t confess to a crime I didn’t commit” I have read that about one user but I’ve been blocked username & ip so they will not be able to use this house’s computer for wiki . I both understand and appreciate what you were doing. Thanks.  : ) 100%freehuman (talk) 19:35, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

FYI, the block on the IP is only because a blocked registered user (you) has recently used that IP address. The block on the IP will go away on its own in about a day once you stop editing. Also, I don't intend for you to be "confessing", it's just really to make sure that you aren't going to escalate this further. Mangojuicetalk 20:00, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Note to editors

edit

As the editor with whom Kate was initially edit-warring, I can attest that she was acting in good faith and the problem was established editors trying to make clear to a new user Wikipedia's byzantine policies, including those concerning 3RR. I ask that you show consideration to this user and not expect her to master the bureaucracy in a manner of days, she was trying to add published information and improve the encyclopedia. WP:BITE should weigh heavily on any editor trying to take punitive action against her. With respect, скоморохъ ѧ 19:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

What A Day You Had

edit
And, for what it's worth, I am an admin. I realize it may seem insulting to offer "adoption", and actually am not particularly fond of the word in this context myself, but I took advantage of the possibility of "having someone in my corner" when I started here. It proved successful, I guess, considering I got made an admin about a year after joining with over 100 supports and no opposes. Adoption isn't intended to be seen as being "demeaning", just more or less having someone you know you could ask questions of. In any event, if you were to accept the offer, I could probably unblock this account myself. John Carter (talk) 20:17, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request received

edit

I have received your request, and posted a message on the WP:AN/I page asking if there are any objections to seeing you reinstated which are so serious that they would consitute cause for not unblocking you. I expect response within a day at most, one way or another. I am, unfortunately, a new admin, actually becoming one only a few weeks ago, and hesitate to "step on any toes" of older, more established admins in such a matter. However, if the possibility of "adoption" (a word I really dislike) is one acceptable to you, along with the accompanying informal "monitoring" you are likely to receive from others, I can't imagine that there would be any objections serious enough to prevent you being unblocked. John Carter (talk) 17:02, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unblocked

You were actually unblocked a few hours ago. The protection on your user talk page has also been lifted. John Carter (talk) 18:19, 6 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
