Welcome!
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create an account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without an account, your IP address (104.254.93.198) is used to identify you instead.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Iryna Harpy (talk) 23:47, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
- P.S. I'd encourage you to start an account as you appear to be IP hopping from the same place in Canada. Having your own account would prevent both being easily tracked and, while it shouldn't happen, IP changes tend to be more disruptive leaving you open to being reverted by regular editors. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:06, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Romanians, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did at Romanians and Romanians in Italy. Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:54, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

I've found the relevant information regarding the same user repeating their behaviour. Thanks for pushing me to double-check on what was going on. Please click on the link and it will take you to my nag! Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:28, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
