editHello, I'm Tayi Arajakate. I noticed that you recently removed content from Namaste Trump without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Welcome!
editHello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Important notice
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Hi 110.227.228.147,
a common mistake when discussing controversial edits has been described in the essay WP:BLUDGEON. Please read it before continuing to edit.

- ~ ToBeFree And why I have to be blocked (but not others who also edit warred) especially when the main page has been already protected? 110.227.228.147 (talk) 02:39, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
- 110.227.228.147, this is only about your behavior, not others' (WP:NOTTHEM). The block duration exceeds the protection duration, to prevent you from immediately continuing the edit war after the protection ends. The block is not limited to the main article because your discussion style seems to have contributed to the disruption, and because you might have violated WP:BLP during the discussion. If the block is not necessary to prevent this from happening again, please create an unblock request (see the instructions above) for independent review by another administrator. Best regards, ~ ToBeFree (talk) 10:57, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
