Response
editIn response to your message, let me say, usually after the subject of an article dies, the lead image on the infobox is usually replaced with an image that depicts the subject in their prime, its in black/white or depicts them in the 'peak of their career. See Alain Delon, Bob Barker, Louis Gossett Jr., John Mayall, Roger Corman, Bob Newhart, Don Murray (actor), Richard Simmons, Silvio Santos, etc. as recent examples. Heck, look at old examples like Betty White, Mary Tyler Moore, Richard Roundtree, Angela Lansbury, Alan Arkin, Barbara Walters, Harry Belafonte, Tony Bennett, Tom Smothers, David McCallum, Jim Brown, Bill Russell, Hal Holbrook, Norman Lloyd, etc. There's this precedent in doing this after the subject dies. There are exceptions such as with some political figures and individuals. TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 07:43, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- @TDKR Chicago 101: So for example, will you change the infobox image of former Prime Minister of Malaysia and dictator Mahathir Mohamad from the current one to a younger version of himself in the 1980s during his tenure from 1981 to 2003 when he dies? 113.211.210.44 (talk) 07:48, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
- 113.211.210.44, you'd normally be welcome to discuss this during an edit warring block, but you have engaged in harassment and TDKR Chicago 101 can't be expected to have a content-based discussion with you without any form of apology. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 07:51, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
