Image without license
editUnspecified source/license for File:Anna Sokolina. Collateral Damage.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Anna Sokolina. Collateral Damage.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}}
(to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Anna Sokolina, from its old location at User:125aps/Anna Sokolina. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 00:23, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Anna Sokolina 16.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Anna Sokolina 16.jpg, which you've attributed to Anna Sokolina. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ytoyoda (talk) 20:16, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, could you explain what's happening with this image? It says Anna Sokolina has given permission, but you say you're the copyright owner. Both things can't be true — either she owns the copyright and she has given permission or you took the photograph and you are the copyright owner. Also, it seems unlikely that Anna Sokolina is the copyright owner since she is in the photograph and it's not a selfie. Thanks. Ytoyoda (talk) 14:56, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, I see what you did here. You'll see that none of the information you included in the license template shows up when you view the image. You'll need to use Template:Information instead. Hope that helps. Ytoyoda (talk) 15:00, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Sokolina 2007 MetMus AerialView NYC.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Sokolina 2007 MetMus AerialView NYC.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from File:Anna Sokolina 16.jpg. When removing deletion tags, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have received permission from the photographer, please submit it to commons:COM:OTRS. Ytoyoda (talk) 15:26, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

Deletion pending for File:Sokolina 2003 MetMus AerialView St.Pet.jpg
editHello, 125aps. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Sokolina 2003 MetMus AerialView St.Pet.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. editHi 125aps! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Anna Sokolina that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. - Sumanuil (talk) 22:33, 27 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you, Sumanuil for this clarification, will be careful with definition of edits. Respectfully, 125aps 125aps (talk) 02:35, 11 February 2023 (UTC)
