If you think it is only because of the population which is less than 10 lakh then both the cities have a population near 10 lakhs ( 9.67 lakhs) that is only just within the muncipal corporation limits . but if you consider the metropolitan area incl the suburbs of these two cities have a population more than 10 lakhs . so these two citiies come in one million plus urban agglomerations of India |This act of yours hurts the regional sentiments of we malayalis from Kerala. |yours sincerely |A Anjanakannan
