May I suggest that you give yourself a User name and an account. This will improve the credibility of any edits and comments that you make. It is very easy and it also hides your IP address which can be used to track your location. Dabbler (talk) 13:33, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Battle of Loos edit warring

edit

On a less welcoming note, your refusal to take my advice to discuss the issue (with your references) on the Talk page does not show appropriate regard for Wikipedia procedures. Continually changing an article where there is no consensus and no references to support the change is not the way to go and if done too often may result in you being banned from editing Wikipedia for a period. This is not a happy outcome for anyone. Instead please address the comments on the Talk page and then once agreement/consensus has been reached the appropriate change can take place and the article will be improved.

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of Loos with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 00:48, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

On a lighter note, there's some good advice here Template:Infobox military conflict and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Military history here. Keith-264 (talk) 08:05, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
