Can someone provide me with assistance on how to access #wikipedia-en-revdel connect where only administrators can see my concerns? I do not understand how to access the IRC link Wikipedia provides and make sure anything I write privately will reach the administrators. It is regarding something troubling with a BLP, a specific page. I was about to remove an inaccurate edit when I noticed it has been removed multiple times by different editors over roughly the last year and a half and restored by the same person with slight difference in verbiage and sourcing as the person's sources have been criticized and several people have suggested a violation to the rules of Wikipedia for BLP. Now there seems to be additional editors (or perhaps the same person with different user names?) obsessed with the subject matter and it is surely intended to cause harm or will cause harm to the individual. I would like some assistance if anyone can help me via email associated with my page/account so that I can use the en-revdel connect link. Thank you. Please help me with...

- You might prefer to go to the page WP:Oversight and use the email link on that page to send your concern privately to an even more select group of admins who deal with incorrect or incorrectly-revealed personal information. If you are not already familiar with IRC, the use of email should likely be an easier path for you. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 19:59, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your response. Will try this.
William Atherton
edit- Thank you, Dearest Editor 17enk4900, for your 1,100 word plea on my talk page. I will consider what you said with the utmost seriousness. For now I will say -- how is quoting the words of William Atherton "maligning" him? It seems that if one takes out an ad in the NY Daily News that says "I am former homosexual" and is videotaped on Dave Susskind saying "I am a former homosexual," then how is that maligning Mr. Atherton? Homosexuality is not "bad." The year is 2021, not 1971. Saying that maybe you were gay in the 1970s would hardly bat an eye in Hollywood today. And it could hardly affect he career of an actor who has not worked much in the last several years. If Mr. Atherton believes these words to reflect badly on him, perhaps you can ask why he made these statements to begin with, in the national press, I might add? PBP (talk) 14:30, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
