You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (189.160.58.147) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page. Again, welcome! SWik78 (talk • contribs) 19:32, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Edit Summaries
editHello and welcome!
Thank you for your contributions and thank you for using edit summaries on your edits.
I wanted to make a suggestion, if I might. Edit summaries are meant to be used to describe your edit and the purpose behind it so that the community knows what you did. So far, your edits have been quite helpful so I would like to ask you to make your edit summaries a little more descriptive of your actions such as saying added year of release or removed unused bracket etc. Edit summaries such as gfgfg don’t tell us what you did or why and your good faith edits might accidentally be mistaken for vandalism by another editor.
Let me know if you have any questions about this by leaving a question on my talk page.
Again, welcome and thank you for your contributions.
Peace! SWik78 (talk • contribs) 19:32, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hello again!
- Would you , please, be willing to consider leaving more descriptive and meaningful edit summaries other than swsww? It would be greatly appreciated by the community.
- Thanks! SWik78 (talk • contribs) 20:04, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
