Hi. You recently added some info to the above article, which I reverted because it partially duplicated information found in the next paragraph from where you added it, and it was partially what we call puffery. You can't use a term like "model school" unless you are quoting a reference that says that. If it is not referenced, then it is your own opinion and Wikipedia is not a forum for you to express your opinion. Wikipedia publishes only verifiable information. I am going to revert it again. The proper procedure to follow when you disagree with someone reverting something you add is to go to the article's talk page and discuss it. I do not see how the stuff you added is useful at all. The edit cycle is explained at WP:BRD. Gtwfan52 (talk) 15:20, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hello again. I got your message at my talk page. I didn't explain that exactly right to you in my first message. You don't have to quote the source directly in the article (altho you can), but you have to have a source that says exactly that (model school). I will start a new section entitles "Recent updates 12/12" on the articles's talk page. If you post the quote there and the information on the source (Newspaper citation should include paper name and city, date and edition if applicable, author name, article title and page number. Book cite should include title and edition (1st printing, 8th printing, etc.), publisher, publication date, city of publication, author, title, ISBN number, and page number(s)), we can go from there on adding it to the article. Citing is really easy on Wikipedia, but the process takes several steps. Once you learn the steps it is simple. Thanks for your reply. I hope you continue to add information to Wikipedia, not just at your Alma Mater, but on any subject that interests you. Gtwfan52 (talk) 18:30, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
