I have just seen the nice article you started on the above mentioned taxon. I modified a few things in it - please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any of the changes you are uncertain about or feel were unwarranted, and I will be happy to explain. Current Season Stats

edit

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia by updating the statistics in the Justin Cross article. Unfortunately your recent edit(s) has been reverted. This is because the guidelines from the WikiProject on Ice Hockey state that season statistics may only be updated when the season has ended. This is for maintaining a high standard and accuracy on all hockey players articles on Wikipedia. We understand that your edit was in good faith and hope that you understand our objectives. If you have any questions, please visit us at the WikiProject on Ice Hockey's talk page. Djsasso (talk) 18:34, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Task Force

edit

Actually I already fixed all those categories and that template no longer exists. It is a redirect. Everything points to the correct spot now. Nothing was messed up. All those pages are still tagged as belonging to your task force. Take a look at the talk pages of any of the articles, you just click More on the ice hockey template and it indicates which task force it belongs to. As was mentioned on talk page at the hockey project, this is how most sub-topics of larger topics are handled. All the directories still exist but are named to match all the other directories of the same type. -Djsasso (talk) 00:23, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

You Deserve a Barnstar

The Original Barnstar
For going the extra mile and researching the exact times for the "Affiliation with What's New Scooby Doo" section in the Simple Plan article, I award you this barnstar. Keep up the great work! -- Poe Joe (formerly Ian Lee) (Talk) 03:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, you definitely deserve it. Seeing as you are a fellow SP fanatic, have you considered joining the Simple Plan Wikiproject? I think you'd be great! As of now, there are only two main contributors to Simple Plan-related articles (the other person besides myself being User:Wehwalt), so we really need help. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Clb Alternate.gif)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Clb Alternate.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 13:38, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

You Obviously Enjoy Birds

edit

Seeing as how you're a youth editor, I can't help but be impressed by your dedication to a single subject. Aside from that brief compliment, I'm contacting you as the the first listed person in the 'Active' section of the birds project page to request confirmation that this article falls within the scope of your wikiproject as is suggested on the Talk Page. There were some absurd ramblings about parrots that may have resulted in someone jokingly including it, but since there's obviously a bird involved in the film in some way, I don't know...you would be more qualified to make that call than myself.
--K10wnsta (talk) 21:27, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Addendum: I stand corrected. Upon further examination, your interests obviously extend far beyond birds. You also appear to be a fan of many activities associated with frozen water. I can't help but wonder...do you really prefer skiing over snowboarding?

Science lovers wanted!
Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah (talk) 01:50, 18 April 2012 (UTC)|}Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Columbus Blue Jackets farm teams

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Columbus Blue Jackets farm teams indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read!
