Margie Bowes
editI'm sorry, but we can't except that edit, because it cannot be proven, and in these cases proof is a must. If you are related, inform a local newspaper. Otherwise we have to wait until it gets mentioned in a music magazine, or - like her daughter - the grave is listed. I know it's frustrating, but people cannot be presumed dead unless it is proven. This issue about the possible death of Margie Bowes. There is a thread on a forum [1] about her death, but no reliable source. This IP claims to be related to her. Anybody have an idea about the options. KittenKlub (talk) 19:08, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- Please don't. This matter is being taken seriously, and we are trying to discuss this rationally. Don't start an edit war, because that will just get you banned eventually. KittenKlub (talk) 19:24, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
Ok, whatever. You win. I swear some of you people have nothing better to do than run this site like it's some sort of military boot camp. I'm outta here anyway because I'm not about to waste my time arguing.
Here. Is this good enough for you guys? Her official Facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/margie.boweswilburn
- Please remain calm. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources state. We cannot accept an unsourced thread on a Facebook page, because we have a policy called the Biographies of Living Persons policy(which also applies to the recently deceased) that all content in such articles must be well sourced to a published, reliable source. Do you have anything in a published source? It doesn't even have to be a full obituary; a brief death notice in a newspaper would suffice. We all want the same thing- the article to be reasonably accurate- but we must have proper sourcing. 331dot (talk) 20:33, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
