Welcome!
Interested in becoming a regular contributor to Wikipedia? Create an account! Your , so you might receive messages on this page that were not intended for you.To have your own user pages, keep track of articles you've edited in a watchlist, and have access to a few other special features, please consider registering an account! It's fast and free. (Note: Sometimes, due to vandalism, you may be temporarily unable to register). Applying an indefinite block to this IP is not appropriate, unless it is a soft block, because the IP address will later be reallocated to a different, unrelated, and unsuspecting user, thereby impairing access to Wikipedia in an inappropriate fashion. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. The best approach is to determine the CIDR IP numerical address range and make a higher-level decision to soft-block the entire range. http://www.arin.net/ (for approximately North America) and related sites can help to identify that range. Caution is advised when applying a range block as other Wikipedians, both registered and otherwise, may be affected.
Review contributions carefully if blocking this IP address or reverting its contributions. If a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block using Template:Anonblock. Network administrators, to monitor this IP address for vandalism, can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format. |

Moved discussion
editJust curious... why have you taken such an interest in this particular clip? Atsme📞📧 09:55, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
@Atsme: There was a technical issue with the page layout concerning
{{Justcurious}}
on the article talk page, so I've moved the discussion here (also on the basis of WP:NOTFORUM).I don't quite remember how I got into the article, actually. Even if a page is not of my interests, I aim to fix any issues that I can find and quickly fix, or tag them with templates appropriately for other editors to attend. And that's where the snowball started from, maybe a Streisand effect.

My user page
editI just noticed that a filter prevented your edit attempt to fix an error on my user page. I have now corrected the error. This edit filter prevents IP address users from editing other user pages than their own. Thank you, —PaleoNeonate - 23:53, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
- I guessed beforehand I was going to get caught by the filter (unless the user page has been whitelisted by the user or administrator), but didn't bother notifying you on your talk page. I didn't know you could see the full filtered edit or edit summary, unless you attempted to guess what the error was. You're welcome! 2001:2003:54FA:D2:0:0:0:1 (talk) 23:59, 19 July 2017 (UTC)

editHello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (2001:2003:54FA:D2:0:0:0:1) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page.

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
