@Andrew Davidson: Thank you for that much needed new paragraph on my user page, Andrew! Now I know how to do that. Still trying to figure out many things here! 2018 Sara Classics (talk) 14:20, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
You're welcome. I saw your activity when checking my watchlist and so tweaked a couple of items like that. Ideally, the userbox should work better with plain text but it will take longer to fix that as template syntax, HTML and browsers interact in complex ways.
If you need help or advice moving your draft to mainspace, feel free to ping me again.

I see that the article is fully published now -- well done. I have made a couple of updates to remove some template clutter, which didn't seem needed, and to add an image, which needs some know-how to avoid copyright issues. As the article is quite substantial, I'll nominate it for Did You Know. You won't need to do anything specific about that but I'll keep you posted so you can comment on any issues which may arise. DYK

I have started the DYK process at Template:Did you know nominations/Barbara P. McCarthy. The next step is to wait on a review and see what the reviewer says. Andrew D. (talk) 22:05, 27 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

DYK for Barbara P. McCarthy

edit

On 12 November 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Barbara P. McCarthy, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Barbara P. McCarthy disagreed with philologist Rudolf Helm about whether or not Lucian originated a particular form of satiric dialog? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Barbara P. McCarthy. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Barbara P. McCarthy), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Your draft article, User:2018 S Classics/Ruth Finnegan

edit

Hello, 2018 S Classics. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ruth Finnegan".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! I-Bin-A-Bibi (talk) 18:40, 8 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
