Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki

edit

Hi there, in these edits I had to undo some of the changes you made to Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. Though I know you meant well, some of your changes seems to have entirely replaced former cast members, which is not how we set up a television cast list. Per WP:TVCAST, new cast members are added to the bottom of either the Main cast or Recurring cast lists. We need to preserve the entire history of noteworthy characters, so that's why simply removing them is not appropriate. Also, if someone leaves the cast, that should be explained in prose with as much detail and referencing as possible. When did they leave? Why did they leave? Real-world context is important. Indian television articles are across-the-board problematic largely because people are unaware that there is supposed to be a clear structure to an article. If you could please open a discussion on the article's talk page and explain some of these issues, I'd be happy to help incorporate the information in a way that makes sense. Thanks. Unexplained removal of content

edit

Re: this, does it occur to you that an encyclopedia might want to know all the people who played a certain role? Why are you just blanket deleting the last person to portray the character? Bizarre choice. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:30, 1 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Re: this, again your removal appears disruptive. If multiple people played this role, then multiple people should be indicated, preferably with real-world content about their departure, hire, etc. Wikipedia is not merely an extension of Colors TV's website. We are an academic resource, and as such, people who play major characters shouldn't disappear with cast changes. From WP:TVCAST: "The cast listing should be organized according to the series original broadcast credits, with new cast members being added to the end of the list. Articles should reflect the entire history of a series, and as such actors remain on the list even after their departure from the series. Please adhere to community guidelines. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, you may be blocked from editing. Diff: [1] If you vandalize the article again, which is what it appears to me that you are doing, I will interrupt your editing privileges. According to a variety of sources, Tomar did appear on the series.[2][3][4][5] If this does not fit with your worldview, you need to open a discussion on the article's talk page and figure it out with other editors, not keep deleting the content. This is disruptive. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:35, 19 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

For this. Stop removing content from this article. It is demonstrable through numerous references that Shivani Tomar was part of the series, if even briefly. If you disagree with this, take it to the talk page. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:00, 23 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

For this, where you again inepxlicably remove a former cast member from the article as though they never existed. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:58, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm ZI Jony. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Randeep Rai, but you didn't provide a reliable source.
