Rongoā Māori herbalism
editOn my talk page, you said: "How is it undue to include Rongoā Māori in the article about herbal medicine? The tradition includes herbal medicine (which is the title of the article) and I'm not sure what makes Māori culture any less valid than Indonesian culture, Chinese culture or any other culture with herbal medicine traditions. Did you remove the content because only a small percentage of the world's population are Māori? I referenced a book that was published in 2018 (only two years ago, conveniently up-to-date) providing the title, isbn number and author. I read WP:UNDUE but the only potential problem I can see is that there are fewer people living in New Zealand than in India or China. Unless that it the reason why you removed the content, I don't understand what was wrong with the information."
- I did feel it was a population issue, as the other five regions shown are high-population locations. Do we include every possible native herbalism? That's where WP:UNDUE comes in. I'll place it on the talk page for review and discussion by others, and we can follow up further there. Thanks. --Zefr (talk) 01:06, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
