De facto and de jure
editI think you've got de facto and de jure mixed up on Cook Islands. Other than that, all good. Cheerio and happy editing! Mako001 (C) (T) 🇺🇦 09:15, 22 October 2022 (UTC)

editPlease do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jay Watson. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. The literature accept Tame Impala as a band. See

- It's not a band though? 219.88.180.48 (talk) 04:52, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Read Kevin Parker and Tame Impala. Both expressly say that Tame Impala is not a band. This isn't my opinion. 219.88.180.48 (talk) 04:52, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a summary of published sources—all the reliable ones. AllMusic and Pitchfork specifically call them a band, and that's from just a cursory peek at the internets. You can't just ignore the sources that don't fit your viewpoint. Binksternet (talk) 04:57, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Blinksternet, I would like you to stop hounding. I've seen your reverting of edits I've made about Tame Impala across Wikipedia. What I did was in good faith. I made these edits to express the fact that in many, many interviews, Kevin Parker has said that Tame Impala is not a band. He has been the project's sole songwriter for its entire existence, and since 2015 has employed no session or other musicians to assist the recording of his work. Your accusation that I'm ignoring sources that "don't fit my viewpoint" is wrong; I'm simply using the latest and most reliable sources so that Wikipedia is not outdated or incorrect. The fact that Tame Impala is sometimes described as a band across Wikipedia is erroneous, backed up in sources published when it was less clear, or ones written by people who assumed that they were a band. And that's not surprising- solo projects weren't really a thing back then. But I think the interview on the Project from this month made it much more clear. 219.88.180.48 (talk) 05:13, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Parker doesn't define the band, but if he did, he has referred to them as a band multiple times, for instance saying "I'm not sure why we never recorded it before, but we were just playing it at a sound check one night and everyone in the band was like..." That shows not only does Parker call it a band, but that he doesn't make all the decisions alone.
- The definition of the band comes from WP:SECONDARY sources, reliable publications talking about Tame Impala. Plenty of secondary sources call them a band. Don't ignore those sources. Binksternet (talk) 12:53, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Odd Future, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 23:53, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- What I put was not remotely incorrect. You know that. If you treat people like this, you shouldn't have editing privileges. 219.88.180.48 (talk) 00:00, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
