Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hello, I'm Ronz. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:Jared Taylor that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 15:28, 2 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Jared Taylor, you may be blocked from editing. I see User:Ronz has also warned you about this. You will get nowhere by calling people liars. Doug Weller talk 19:50, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits to talk:Jared Taylor could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you.

You've mentioned slander, which I noted and was concerned by, but now you are mentioning libel with reference to its effect on Wikipedia's income. This can only be construed as a legal threat, which Wikipedia strictly forbids Edaham (talk) 00:02, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

August 2017 Talk Page courtesy

edit

Please remember that talk pages are for discussing changes to articles. They are not a forum for expressing viewpoints unrelated to improving the article (see WP:NOTFORUM). Specifically, this edit, in which you called an editor "a doofus who was talking out his rear end," seems unhelpful. Rockypedia (talk) 12:18, 4 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

T.O. (again)

edit

You appear to now be reverting my edits just because they're my edits. You have tried to add a Youtube link as a reference; I found a secondary source (which is preferred), Lizard (talk) agreed that that's a better reference, and you didn't respond on the talk page to that other than to say "I'm right and you're wrong." You're now edit-warring, and since you choose to edit as an anon IP, and refuse to discuss any of your controversial edits here on your talk page, it's getting more difficult to assume good faith. A good move now would be for you to discuss all of the issues raised on this talk page, and also discuss the T.O. reference on the T.O. talk page, rather than continuing to edit war. Just my opinion. You can take it or leave it. Rockypedia (talk) 23:18, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please cease your edit warring and discuss the changes on the talk page. Despite multiple editors' attempts to engage you about your edits, you have so far not responded on content, and only offered insults to other editors. This is my last attempt to contact you about edit warring and attempt to discuss before I seek admin action. Thank you. Rockypedia (talk) 01:04, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I absolutely responded on content. You just ignore them and go off on tangents. And who are these "multiple editors?"24.178.250.78 (talk) 01:46, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Terrell Owens shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:57, 6 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your contribution

edit

The information you supplied at talk:Jared Taylor seemed notable enough to warrant inclusion in the article's "career" section. After such a long debate, it must be frustrating to have your efforts knocked back, so although the article could probably survive with or without the info you supplied, I made an extra effort to include it because it was uncovered by you, and I want you to know that he process of digging up sources and carefully including them into articles actually does work. I hope there are no hard feelings regarding the debate. I urge you once again to create an account and continue to work as a valuable part of the Wikipedia editing team. Thanks again for your contribution Edaham (talk) 11:40, 7 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Terrell Owens has been reverted.
Your edit here to Terrell Owens was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrdlnJTkryI&t=8m0s, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRfNrPYjXSw) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:43, 9 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Consensus is against you on the addition to the Terrell Owens page. I'm asking you one more time to stop the edit war, as without consensus, your addition cannot stay. You're the only one that believes your addition is valid. I'm reverting the change one last time; if you revert it, you'll face a block for edit warring. Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as done at Terrell Owens. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:02, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sorry man, but the edit warring on this article goes back quite some time, the article was fully protected for one day on August 9th so that you'd both collaborate, you've been warned and even reported for this more than once, and the reverts you've been making involve content-related matters. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:07, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough. As long as we're being held to the same standard. 24.178.250.78 (talk) 20:52, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
