Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Walter Mischel, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please take a look at MOS:ENGVAR. Thank you. i2n2z 06:48, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You reverted two changes that I made.
  • (1) Mischel was born in Austria but his career was in the U.S., and his bio correctly identifies him as an American psychologist. Other passages in the article therefore correctly use AE spelling ("analyzing", "behavior"). Your change of "behavior" back to "behaviour" was incorrect per MOS:ENGVAR, on grounds both of strong national ties and of consistency within the article.
  • (2) His book was titled Personality and Assessment according to the footnote in that very sentence, and according to the book's listing on Amazon. Your edit put an improper comma in the title.
Can you give any reason not to restore the edits I made? 24.189.193.10 (talk) 07:36, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ill undo my changes, my apologies. i2n2z 07:45, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
