"Starring" ≠ "appeared in"

edit

Please stop adding Rudranil Ghosh to the Starring parameter of film infoboxes as you've done here, unless you can prove that he received a "Starring" credit. "Starring" is not interchangeable with "appeared in". "Starring" is a special credit that implies the subject was a lead character. Additionally, since you seem obsessed with adding Rudranil Ghosh to various film casts, I'm going to need to see some proof that he's in these movies. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:03, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diffs: [1][2][3][4][5] Please stop adding unsourced credits for Rudranil Ghosh. By the sheer number of edits you're making, it would seem that Rudranil Ghosh is the most prolific Indian actor ever. You need to start discussing these changes, please. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:35, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Guru (2017 film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Diff: [6] Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:37, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

You need to start adding references about Rudranil Ghosh, because while I understand he might be prolific actor, the sheer number of films you are claiming he's in, seems very hard to believe, just as it is hard to believe that you've apparently seen all of the films and can verify that he appears in the credits of all of them. Additionally, Wikipedia is not IMDb, so if you're just adding all of Ghosh's insignificant bit roles to articles, you are working against community preferences. We're not here to log everybody who passed in front of a camera, only the most significant cast members. I once again urge you to respond below and explain your edits. Thank you.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Thalapathy 62, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 15:27, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
