Please do not bite me.

I have a developmental disability that makes it very difficult for me to communicate with neurotypicals and to comprehend the Wikipedia Policy pages. The stigma is one reason I do not make an account traceable to my real identity. Please do not assume I am being "intentionally" difficult just because I don't understand something. Accusations to that affect are a major trauma trigger for me. Please be sensitive to the fact that I have a disability and a traumatic history of being attacked and verbally abused offline and online because of my disability. When I don't understand other people it's already painful enough for me without being personally attacked over something I was born with and can't change.

Please do not communicate to me with the robot-like templates, they are so generic that I can't understand what they mean and they feel callous to me. If you use generic form letter templates I can't tell you apart from a bot. If I break a Policy by mistake, please tell me the specific way my specific edit broke the rules and please refer to the rules by name instead of the confusing acronyms and jargon.

If I try to cite my sources and totally screw up the citation markup, please just fix the markup and leave a polite note here telling me the markup was incorrect, with a link to the fixed article/section, so I can look and see what the correct markup looks like. I am trying to learn Wiki markup and so far I have failed to learn it. 2601:441:4400:1740:7CBB:F534:DB2F:42BC (talk) 16:36, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) such as Talk:Welfare state are for discussion related to improving (a) an encyclopedia article in specific ways based on reliable sources or (b) project policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Talk:Welfare state has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. The edit itself was OK, and I was actually going to do the same, since the topic was actually related to building an encyclopedia even if it did include borderline chatting and soapboxing. However using that edit summary was uncalled-for. Mako001 (C)  (T)  03:37, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Which "edit itself" was OK? I am so confused. 2601:441:4400:1740:7CBB:F534:DB2F:42BC (talk) 16:39, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
