editHello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Liquid Realty Partners, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 23:34, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

editYou also removed references and external links. Per wp:verifiability (WP:V), information needs to be referenced. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Conflict of interest
editHello, 2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Liquid Realty Partners, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 23:46, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

editJim, the changes I made are simply updates to the history of Liquid Realty Partners. Please reinstate the changes. Thanks, Scott 2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk) 23:39, 25 September 2016 (UTC) Scott Landress, CEO — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk)
Jim, I don't understand what's going on. The old profile reads as though the company and I are active, which has long been untrue. My edits correct it to point out that neither the company nor I are active. Please, help me (first time Wiki) to understand how to make this page correct? Thanks, Scott2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk) 23:54, 25 September 2016 (UTC)
- First, understand I have no way of knowing who you are. It shouldn't matter as any edits should be supported by evidence. Do you have a link to a website that states what you want to add to Liquid Realty Partners? Is there any reason to remove the awards, accomplishments, and other info? Why not just add that the company is "wound down"?
- Please reply here, to the beginning add {{ping|Jim1138}} Your message, then sign with four tildes "~~~~" (leave out the nowiki stuff) and save all three at the same time or the wp:notifications may not work. Jim1138 (talk) 00:10, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- BTW: Please don't add <ref> or </ref> around "Scott", it misformats the page, hiding information. Jim1138 (talk) 00:16, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
@Jim1138:Okay, is this better? I've got to run to an appointment, will be back later, please help me to make this right ;-)Scott 2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk) 00:41, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- Got it. Please don't use the ref stuff: <ref>Scott</ref>. Just add Scott. I'll help. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 00:57, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
@Jim1138: Many thanks. So, how do we clean this up? Scott2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk) 19:49, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
- Is there a website that says that LRP is no longer doing business or something to that effect? If so, please list it and I'll add the info. Plz ping. Thanks Jim1138 (talk) 20:29, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
@Jim1138: I don't know. I could send you (how?) a letter on company letterhead, would that do it? 2602:306:32EB:4280:1D90:D2EE:49CB:265E (talk) 21:00, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
@Jim1138: Jim, following up. How about we go back to the original content and, per your suggestion, simply add: "Liquid Realty Partners is no longer active investing or managing investments" as an update? Would that work? scott 2602:306:32EB:4280:7C66:B356:F4CE:BA59 (talk) 23:04, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
- I've been searching for info on the business being "defunct", but have not found any. Please do add that the business is no longer operating. I'll add that the website is 404. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 10:34, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I also changed that the business is no longer operating. Please change as you see fit. I would leave the accomplishments. Otherwise the article would not be that notable. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 10:41, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
