Why? He lived and worked in Israel for years, where that was his name. --2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 08:58, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello 2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2, please no Hebrew script in the heading. Regards --Serols (talk) 09:05, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
It was not in a heading.2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 09:06, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
I meant infobox, please use here native name, ok? Regards --Serols (talk) 09:13, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
In the infobox it is fine in native name. It is also fine in the first sentence of the lede - just as other material in the infobox is generally fine in the lede. --2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 09:15, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hello 2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2, please use nativ name or let it be. Regards --Serols (talk) 09:18, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
I do not understand what you are saying, or I do - but not why. If someone lives part of their life in Israel, it is fine to reflect their Hebrew name both in the infobox and in the lede. If you disagree - cite a basis. I already outlined why that is the case above. If you do not agree, and cannot explain yourself, let's involve and admin to review your edits here. 2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 09:21, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
What is there not to understand? This is Wikipedia EN and not Wikipedia IL. And please use good references if you change something. --Serols (talk) 11:10, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Yes, this is the English WP. Where is your support for your mistaken view that you should be deleting the Hebrew names of these people though in their articles? See, for example, this and other articles. You have not shown me a rule that supports your deletions. And the evidence is from these articles and from templates that where appropriate it is fine and normal to include their native names. See as well WP:NCUE which says "The native spelling of a name should generally be included in parentheses, in the first line of the article" and "The body of each article, preferably in its first paragraph, should list all frequently used names by which its subject is widely known. When the native name is written in a non-Latin script, this representation should be included".--2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 13:22, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
I see, you understand now, what I meant with nativ name. Regards --Serols (talk) 16:53, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
No. I still do not understand why you are deleting the names in various articles. You still have not shown me wp policy support for it. You still do it using tools as times. And you still do it without edit summaries at times. 2604:2000:E010:1100:5459:345F:8577:54B2 (talk) 18:39, 16 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
