Disambiguation link notification for March 9
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wally Wolf, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wayne Moore (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Nosebagbear (talk) 20:26, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Hi 2nd Place Curse. I saw your additions to Bowen Stassforth and noted that you sourced some of the information to a personal phone call with the subject of the article. Unfortunately, due to Wikipedia's policies original research and the biographies of living people, we cannot accept this type of citation because we cannot verify that it occurred. This is not to insinuate that the material is false or that you are lying about it; rather, in order to maintain a (relatively) objective standard across the project, we have to apply a rule that all potentially contentious claims must be verifiable by being published in a third-party, reliable source. If someone posted a false claim about Strassforth, for example, they could source it to a personal interview and we would be unable to remove it because it was "sourced". Therefore, we have to restrict our sourcing to verifiable material. Thus, if this information cannot be sourced to a third-party, reliable source, then please let me know where it can be found and I will even be happy to cite it for you. Otherwise, the claim will have to be removed. Canadian Paul 20:59, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
