Edit warring on Elche

edit

Hi there, I'm Roxy. It looks like you're engaged in an edit war with another editor over the climate of Elche, Spain. Rather than repeatedly revert changes, please discuss your changes on the article's talk page and attempt to reach a consensus. Edit summaries are not the place for discussion. The other editor, like you, is operating in a good faith attempt to improve Wikipedia, and the best thing to do at this point is to discuss. Please know that editors are strongly discouraged from performing the same revert multiple times. Thank you! RoxySaunders (talk) 03:25, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your message on my talkpage! I recognize that your multiple reverts were in favor of the status quo, and that the other editor's behavior towards you was rude and uncalled for. I just wanted to follow up saying that I opened a discussion for these edits at Talk:Elche#Using Meteoblue's climate data in which I attempted to broadly summarize the situation, and support the past consensus that Meteoblue is a reliable source for this data. If you again find yourself butting heads with someone who insists on editing against consensus, don't revert repeatedly to prove your point, but instead encourage them to discuss their changes on the talk page. You might also find the advice at Wikipedia:Edit warring#Handling of edit-warring behaviors useful. Thanks again. RoxySaunders (talk) 04:57, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
