Edit on A350XWB

edit

Hi 33ryantan, I would like to inform you that your edit which stated that Singapore Airlines began operating the A350 on 8 March 2016 is not accurate as I could not find any information regarding the A350 flying to Kuala Lumpur from the official Singapore Airlines website. Your reference from Airline Routes does not seem reliable, for instance, the article was published on 1 March 2016, before S'pore Airlines got their plane. Please use reliable references, especially from official websites/reputable news websites to back up your edits. On SingaporeAir.com (official website), the inaugural flight of its A350 is cleared stated as 9 May 2016. But don't worry, its all good, we all make mistakes, keep up your good work. Cheers, Guysayshi (talk) 09:11, 10 March 2016 (UTC)GuysayshiReply

Hello, it was not a mistake. If you check SIA's website you will see SQ118 which is operated by an A350 since 8 March. Flightradar24 also shows SQ118 being operated by an A350 since 8 March but some user says it's unreliable. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/sq118/ If you're still not convinced you can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-xUA1RvpBI which shows the A350 in service between SG and KLIA. 33ryantan (talk) 11:28, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi 33ryantan,

Thanks for the clarification. But I'm confused, the Airliner's website doesn't say anything about the A350 flying to Malaysia and still says its inaugural flight of the A350 is on 9 May 2016.[1] This flight is not very notable and I don't know why the airline did not make this SG-KL flight evident on the website...But anyways thanks for your contribution. I will not remove S'pore Air from the operator list.

Guysayshi (talk) 09:36, 11 March 2016 (UTC)GuysayshiReply

It did not list it as 9 May is the first OFFICIAL flight to Dusseldorf. 8 March is the first service to Kuala Lumpur for crew familiarization but they did fly with passengers, so 8 March is the first service. 33ryantan (talk) 12:42, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

ESEAP Conference 2018

edit

Hello,

I’m Punchalee, a member of the Communication Committee of the ESEAP Conference. ESEAP Conference 2018 is a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region: ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific. Taking place in Bali, Indonesia on 5–6 May 2018, this is the first regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.

East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific are the most under-represented regions within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors in our regions, yet we continue to struggle in establishing a well-managed community. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together in order to better understand the issues and to look for solutions. It also aims to connect people of the Wikimedia movement within ESEAP regions, to share ideas, and to build regional collaborations that are impossible to achieve through online communication.

We’ve got a lot of participation from several countries, but we’re lacking from your country. As we need more participants from your country, we believe that your contribution and participation would be a valuable asset to the success of this event. If you would like to participate in the conference, please do fill the form as soon as possible (by April 5, 2018) and we’ll inform you if you get selected for the conference.

Thank you and we hope to see you soon. --Pilarbini (talk) 10:33, 30 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Life on the Line (TV series) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Life on the Line (TV series), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Custom signature

edit

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 22:44, 22 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
