Welcome to Wikipedia!
editDear 3dsfan: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:
Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.
One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 23:03, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Mario Kart 3DS, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please note: per WP:CRYSTAL, pre-release demos and screenshots are not reliable sources with which to verify content. While it's (admittedly) highly unlikely that Nintendo will see fit to remove Mario or Luigi from a Mario Kart game, this doesn't mean it can be exempted from policy. Further more, per WP:IINFO, lists of playable characters are considered ancillary information (unless particularly unusual or of known importance) and are not encyclopedic or of long-term historical value. Please familiarize yourself with these policies otherwise your future edits are likely to also be reverted in an effort to maintain these policies. Thank You. Orphaned non-free image File:Dead or Alive Dimensions screenshot 1.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Dead or Alive Dimensions screenshot 1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Armbrust Talk Contribs 00:51, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
