I just made a minor edit to the previous article to which you made edits. Also you could have added the 12 December incident instead of deleting the info already written by me.
- That is exactly what I did. Please, check all sources. --45.123.13.164 (talk) 07:22, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

editHello, I'm David.moreno72. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2016 Dhulagarh riots, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. David.moreno72 08:38, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- I replied on your talk page with sources. Thank you. --45.123.13.164 (talk) 09:00, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Mz7 (talk) 17:29, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

- I can see that you've already started a thread on the article's talk page. That's a good first step. I've protected the page as a preventative measure to stop the edit warring from happening. Mz7 (talk) 17:30, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I have been insisting to discuss to reach a consensus instead of blind reverts specially when there are reliable sources to clear the dispute. I appreciate your message. Thank you. 45.123.13.164 (talk) 17:36, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Mz7: It seems the user is an experienced editor[1]. Despite shown several sources s/he never bothered to discuss and marked several edits as "minor edits" when these were not. I think a sockpuppet check may reveal more. Regards, 45.123.13.164 (talk) 17:51, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- There is the one edit here which implies the user may be in control of the account Akshay23sep (talk · contribs) as well. The trout might be coming from the userbox on my user page that invites {{trout}} slapping. In the meantime, they appear to have left an explanation on my talk page, which I will respond to now. Mz7 (talk) 18:04, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind response. I also put my explanation there as well with edit history since it is evident the user has been editing with a particular conflict of interest and while the user has removed sourced information several times I never removed a sourced information! 45.123.13.164 (talk) 18:35, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

editHello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. — fortunavelut luna 18:27, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
