editHello, I'm FutureFlowsLoveYou. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Turkestan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 13:35, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- hi can you please tell me what does *historical region* mean? One of the sources talks about post mongol invasion ie( after the genocide that replaced the native people of central asia) and the other sources talks about late antiquity without any specific reference as to what does that mean? You can check historically that even in late antiquity East Iranians inhabited those regions and while there was presence of Turks, it was negligible in terms of population and control, the region was dominated mostly and only by East Iranians and had its independent Kingdoms mostly being close to Iranshar and Iranians than Tartars or Mongols(who inhabit modern day Central Asia), and turks were in minorities(If present) where the majority of them were present in Manchuria, Mongolia and many parts that are closer to mordern day North china and SouthEast Russia than central asia and Mongolia? And also this article is confusing as to we now have two names for historical central Asia, Turanistan and Turkistan? 46.251.152.200 (talk) 13:51, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, you can bring this up on the article talk page. Also please be more specific, as I'm unsure what you're trying to ask about. FutureFlowsLoveYou (talk) 15:46, 26 August 2023 (UTC)
