Be careful with the edit summaries you are using when you edit articles. Threatening to have other editors "investigated" if they alter your edits can be perceived as ownership of the article which is not how we operate. Worse, it could be seen as a legal threat which would lead to a block of your editing privileges. You're welcome to be emphatic and passionate with your edits but this is a collaborative project and you must assume good faith of other editors. ElKevbo (talk) 17:06, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi. An edit that you recently made to Education Management Corporation seemed to be a test and has been removed.   Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Yardley of London, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at History of television. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you.   Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Ashford University. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. St170e (talk) 12:44, 26 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Julia Alvarez

edit

Hello. You made an edit to this article on January 27, 2017, changing Alvarez's place of birth from New York City to the Dominican Republic in the infobox. In the text of the article, the place of birth is correctly stated and cited to a reliable source, so I reverted the change to the previous, correct place of birth. Wikipedia requires that information be verifiable, and that reliable sources be cited. This especially true for articles that are biographies of living persons. According to a policy at Wikipedia, when an edit you make is reverted, the next step is to discuss on the article talk page, not restore your initial edit. Please revert your reversion and provide a citation to a reliable source that states Alverez's birth place as the Dominican Republic. I have opened a discussion at Talk:Julia AlvarezNeonorange (talk) 18:36, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
