Hi, instead of applying a WP:BLPPROD, you could have reverted these edits to restore the redirect as it had been. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 18:53, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Draft : prakash bikalpa rejected

Hello admin, One article is rejected by you. I want to know the reason why my article was rejected.please response soon.Jaintnp (talk) 16:43, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

@Jaintnp, I am not an Admin, I am a New pages Reviewer. Your Draft:Prakash Bikalpa has been declined because it is not written in encyclopedic tone. It seems more like an advertisement than a wikipedia article. Also, the references given in the draft doesn't demonstrate the subject is enough notable to have a wikipedia entry. signed, 511KeV (talk) 17:03, 13 September 2021 (UTC)

New Page Patrol newsletter September 2021

New Page Review queue September 2021

Hello 511KeV,

Please join this discussion - there is increase in the abuse of Wikipedia and its processes by POV pushers, Paid Editors, and by holders of various user rights including Autopatrolled. Even our review systems themselves at AfC and NPR have been infiltrated. The good news is that detection is improving, but the downside is that it creates the need for a huge clean up - which of course adds to backlogs.

Copyright violations are also a serious issue. Most non-regular contributors do not understand why, and most of our Reviewers are not experts on copyright law - and can't be expected to be, but there is excellent, easy-to-follow advice on COPYVIO detection here.

At the time of the last newsletter (#25, December 2020) the backlog was only just over 2,000 articles. New Page Review is an official system. It's the only firewall against the inclusion of new, improper pages.

There are currently 706 New Page Reviewers plus a further 1,080 admins, but as much as nearly 90% of the patrolling is still being done by around only the 20 or so most regular patrollers.

If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process or its software.

Various awards are due to be allocated by the end of the year and barnstars are overdue. If you would like to manage this, please let us know. Indeed, if you are interested in coordinating NPR, it does not involve much time and the tasks are described here.

Tiruppur District Police

You tagged Tiruppur District Police for deletion, but you did not create Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tiruppur District Police. I created Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tiruppur District Police for you. You should edit the AfD page to give your reasons why the article should be deleted. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 16:52, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

Thankyou @Eastmain for completing the nomination. Actually, I tagged it via Page Curation toolbars AFd option. I was hoping everything to be automatic. signed, 511KeV (talk) 17:26, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

Page mover granted

Hello, 511KeV. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.

Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.

If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Seddon talk 03:16, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Draft: Saoul

Hi 511KeV, I'm trying to figure out what qualifies as reliable Source for my Artist Saoul References. For example, the first Article referenced, by Ricardito for SoulTracks Magazine, which has a Wikipedia Entry itself seems reliable to me as it is an unbiased and non-promotional review by a well known genre defined Magazine. The Article by Mentalunrest.com named Aural Dive is another umbiased review, but reliable I'm the sense that Mentalunrest is a well known and visited Arts-Review Website. I guess trying to figure out which References I should keep and which to delete, as maybe some lesser known websites don't qualify. As this Artist is independent, he hasn't got Reviews by bigger Publications such as Rolling Stone, ect but nonetheless deserves to be noted as he's been putting out notable works. Thank you for your help. Tabatha Adchoir (talk) 19:59, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Hey @Tabatha Adchoir thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. At the time of review only three references were present from 1: Soul tracks, 2: Independent music promotion and 3: Metal unrest. 2nd reference is clearly primary refrence an now seems to be dead. 3rd reference is a blog entry and not a reliable source. Regarding 1st reference even if we consider it a reliable source which it is not, we can't establish notability of the subject. I would suggest to have a look at Wikipedia:Reliable sources to know what qualifies as a good reference. If you are not happy with my review, you can resubmit it for review but consider fixing these issues prior to resubmission as it would be declined if the issues are not addressed. Thankyou and Happy Editing! signed, 511KeV (talk) 04:10, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Hi 511KeV, Thanks for your response, I think I'm slowly getting the picture. I guess my real question is how does an independent Artist get to have an Article if he doesn't have Prime Coverage? If a respected Site like SoulTracks, which has a Wiki Entry and a worldwide Audience of about 250k monthly doesn't qualify as a reliable source then the chances become slim. If unbiased Album Reviews by well known Music Blogs don't count, though the Independent Music Industry relies on them, even slimmer. So how does one let the world know of the existence of this Artist, thats clearly been consistently putting out Material for over 10 years now? Should he be advised to sign a Label Deal and get a Billboard Magazine Article first? Thanks for your Help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tabatha Adchoir (talkcontribs) 06:21, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

@Tabatha Adchoir, Kindly check WP:MUSICBIO for the criteria that covers notability for Biography of Musicians. Besides Wikipedia is not a promotional platform to let audience know about an artist. If an artist is not notable per guidelines of Wikipedia there is no way to create an article on that subject even if somehow it is created it won't last for long as it would be nominated for deletion. Once an artist passes notability guidelines, an article can be created for them. Hope that solves your doubt. signed, 511KeV (talk) 06:37, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
