Problem with article correctness

I recently stumbled across Nullomers through the "articles needing copy edit" list, and found that the first sentence of the lead was either unclear or not in accordance with the cited sources, so I corrected it (and hopefully it's correct now). However, with the second sentence, this is not quite clear: While [2] (as cited in the article) makes natural selection as a cause plausible, it does not explicitly state it. [1], on the other hand, seems to argue against it: "Here, we show that the hypermutability of CpG dinucleotides, rather than the natural selection against the nullomer sequences, is likely the reason for the phenomenal event of short sequence motifs becoming nullomers." I do not think I have the necessary knowledge to decide what is actually correct here; is there some way to get a knowledgeable person to review this, or should I just remove the sentence? 5mv2 (talk) 19:03, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- This discussion should be held at Talk:Nullomers, because it will attract a larger audience than just the person closing the {{help me}} request. Primefac (talk) 19:40, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Primefac: Thanks! Should I put a {{help me}} thingy there too? 5mv2 (talk) 21:22, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
