Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:Shroud of Turin that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. tgeorgescu (talk) 05:15, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

You have a total of 16 edits, all of which were comments at Talk:Shroud of Turin from June to September. At Wikipedia, exceptional claims require exceptional sourcing (WP:REDFLAG). The idea that some cloth has survived two thousand years is in itself an exceptional claim. It is often the case that scientists do not continue writing about issues they consider to be settled. Perhaps they are wrong, but that is the way the world works and Wikipedia follows reliable sources. Please do not continue posting opinions regarding the shroud. If you have an exceptional source justifying your position, post it to article talk in a new section, with a new proposal about how the source should be used. You will be blocked if further unsourced commentary occurs because it is not reasonable to expect other editors to continue engaging over a REDFLAG issue.
