Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made on October 13. I greatly appreciate your constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (73.96.9.160) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page.

Again, welcome! Philroc (c) 23:49, 21 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

October 2021

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kids of the Round Table, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 16:32, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

No pipe-links, please

edit

Howdy. I've noticed you've habitually made pipe-links on British royal related pages. We no longer use pipe-links much, anymore. Re-directs are preferred. GoodDay (talk) 23:54, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am here to ask the same thing. Please see WP:NOTBROKEN and WP:NOPIPE. Surtsicna (talk) 06:16, 22 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please login to your account

edit

I note that you have edited in the same topic area, performing the same edits that two editors have spoken to you about above, from your account. As these edits are contested, you should not be making them from both your account and your IP. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry#Editing while logged out: while editing logged out is not forbidden, if you do so and do so to make contested edits, it can look as though you are trying to escape scrutiny or make it appear as though edits have more support that they do. It is therefore best practice to either always login or always edit in the same topic area as an IP rather than from your account and an IP. DrKay (talk) 19:33, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have blocked you from editing for 1 month because you have continued the same edits that User:GoodDay and User:Surtsicna mentioned above[1] while ignoring my requests at both this page and your account talk page not to edit in the same topic area as both an IP and from your account. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. DrKay (talk) 06:55, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
