editPlease do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons. Thank you. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 19:22, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- All information is referenced now. Where necessary poor references has been replaced with proper references.
- I would also like to ask you to avoid bias by removing properly referenced edits which contribute to the body of knowledge. 83.105.44.124 (talk) 19:52, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- I started a talk page discussion. I hope you'll join there instead of edit warring. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 19:54, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi 83.105.44.124! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 19:22, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - I gave an example at the talk page discussion. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 20:02, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Please refrain from threats when talking to other editors of Wikipedia - this is an community resource and everyone has a right to add/remove information from it. By removing information you are denying other user access to the body of knowledge. If you continue this line of action, you can be reported, too.
- Please explain why have you removed passage about Hirsi Ali being against Muslim schools whilst at the same time having no problems with Christian/Jewish schools? What is the problems with this passage which has been properly referenced? 83.105.44.124 (talk) 20:00, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- I'll post an explanation at the article talk page. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 20:02, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
