editHello, I'm Framawiki. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Ivor Catt because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ivor Catt, you may be blocked from editing. Besides the fact that we don't use raw urls in articles, we need secondary sources, not his website. I need to look at the article - if the only possible source is his website, WP:UNDUE suggests that we remove the text as not signficant. Doug Weller talk 05:30, 16 August 2018 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did with this edit to Oliver Heaviside. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
