editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Christopher Priest (novelist), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 06:40, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- Who could challenge the news that he has died? Here’s his partner passing on that information.

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did with this edit to Christopher Priest (novelist). Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 06:58, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting. I notice you confine these changes to a temporary user talk page rather than engage on the more visible Talk:Christopher Priest? The “poorly referenced” information is taken from his partner’s website, identified as such on her Wikipedia entry. But you evidently know best. 87.129.133.75 (talk) 07:04, 3 February 2024 (UTC)
