This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <replace these words with your reason>. — 92.23.174.143 (talk) 14:20, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I feel this should not be deleted as it provides information of a new web network which provides information about the current Israel-Palestine conflict and I personally feel that I will use the recources provided by this group and I'm sure many others who are intersted in the same area of politics will agree. 92.23.174.143 (talk) 14:20, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

However, is there any evidence that this group/website is really notable. I'll point you to our general notability guideline. Do you think it passes? Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:21, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Within the first two days of launching the blog, our visitor hits went from 23 on the first day, to just under 200 in the second. We have recieved many messages from other uses on the blogging platform expressing their appreciation for our blog. Although some may not consifer that notable, those who share the same political view do indeed value and deem this website as notable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.23.174.143 (talk) 14:30, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ahh, but that's my point. While I'm sure there are many who appreciate your blog, it does not appear to have reached the level of notability required for Wikipedia. For example, do you have any reliable third-party sources discussing your site? Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:34, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

It's three days old so I doubt that there are any third party sources which have mentioned it yet. Me, and the other people who run it have received messages from many people saying that they love our work and our posts. That's all so far.92.23.174.143 (talk) 14:38, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest then that you wait until you have more to write about. Even now, the article seem written in the future tense (this will be done, and will be published). Once you have third party sources and more to write about, you should try again. As of now, it just wouldn't pass. :( Nolelover Talk·Contribs 14:46, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

When will it be deleted? Yom Kippur is soon to start so no one will be contactable to provide the third-party sources required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.23.174.143 (talk) 14:57, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

It will probably be deleted shortly (within a few days, if not hours), but remember that you can recreate at any point. However, I would suggest you ask an editor to look over your work when you think it is ready, just to get a second opinion from someone else. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 15:01, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am a fan of MY-EY, it has only just been put online but it's already got a following and provides plenty of content regarding Israel/Palestine/Judaism, as well as its own written articles about the conflict. This page should stay because it's relevant to people like myself who enjoy the material of this network.

Please read the discussion above. There is no claim to notability in the article. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 15:21, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Nolelover, the rule for speedy is "indicate importance" which is much less than notability. Actual notability is determined at AfD , not speedy. Any reasonable indication or claim of importance here is sufficient to pass a7.
However, I deleted the article as being entirely promotional, and being written for an admittedly promotional purpose--to try to spread word about something new which is not yet generally known to the public;. That's the essence of promotionalism. DGG ( talk ) 23:33, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
