Some general points

There are some things that, if you're not aware of them, that you need to go and read. Start with WP:ELNO and that'll explain why CricketArchive isn't OK as an external source. You'll want to read about MOS:BIO and WP:BLP as well and consider the importance of sources. To suggest that your preferred edit on David Terbrugge was "better" is stretching any reasonable grounds - the edit you removed had added multiple sources to a BLP article and the version you replaced it with had no sourcing and, at the same time, removed all sorts of additional details - exactly the sort of details that mean the article has a chance of surviving when NSPORTS starts being cited as a cause for mass deletion.
