edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Bay of Biscay, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 09:22, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Bay of Biscay, you may be blocked from editing. Chris Troutman (talk) 18:29, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm done editing Wikipedia. After a break of a few years, I thought I'd try again. But just lots of unjustified mudslinging. Not very kind people around. Thanks User:Chris troutman. While I understand the attention-seeking nature of the rage quit, it obviously doesn't work on misanthropes like me that wouldn't miss you if you vanished from Earth. I could have been nicer to you, but I'm not the IP copying unsourced text from an article to put into the lede as if that helps, and then gets condescending toward an admin when I got reverted. At some point in the process you should have just left well-enough alone. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:30, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
"as if it helps". Are you denigrating a user's contributions? And rationalising your poor behaviour? You, Troutman, are making wikipedia a toxic environment. You might want to take some time out and brush up on WP:DONTBEADICK. 94.9.146.6 (talk) 23:26, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

DONTBEADICK is just an essay. I am denigrating your well-meaning edits, primarily because you complained about being reverted. I don't edit articles anymore and neither should anyone else. Also, I'm not an admin. Chris Troutman (talk) 00:09, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
