Friendly advice

edit

Hi anon, thanks for your efforts to help improve Wikipedia! I appreciate your interest in improving Grammarly, but wanted to offer some advice on how you might be more persuasive. Wikipedia works by consensus and that process works best when people assume others are trying to help. You're more likely to get your way if you're friendly and collaborative; threatening to open up an ANI thread often makes people not want to work together and is usually counterproductive. Being clear about what you think the problems are and how you would like others to help encourages collaboration. It also encourages discussion so that editors can come to better solutions than they may alone. This isn't a warning, I just wanted to say that your approach so far will probably just lead to more frustration and that other tactics are likely to achieve everyone's common goal of improving the article.
