My Block

edit

I am writing this message in reference to a block I recieved. I sent you a apology on December 24 or 25 2016 and my block expired December 23 2016. In the block report for I YEAR you said I was "block evasion".

I was not currently blocked when I sent that message.

Also seriously like I get blocked from June 23 2016-December 23 2016 for doing sockpuppet accounts then when I come back and actually make good edits you block me for a year.

Can you please tell me how this is justified.

Update Dec 31 2016- Now I also saw you mentioned "You cannot edit Wikipedia under any account or IP as long as your main account remains blocked". Even if the IP is unblocked. Also my main first account was Snake dude NOT Snake Dude 2.0. Snake dude was indefinitely blocked April. 4 2016, and I was still allowed to edit under my IP so your statement makes no sense. 97.103.101.202 (talk) 01:43, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Unblock Request

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

On June 23 2016 I was blocked for quite a long time 6 months by PONYO for some things I did. I am willing to take responsibility for my actions now, finally on Dec 23 2016 my block finally expired. I sent him (PONYO) a. Letter on his talk page apologizing for my misbehavior and even wished him a happy holidays and asked if I could make a new account that can do good edits, instead of getting a yes or no or a thank you for the happy holidays instead I recieved an even longer block for 1 year set to expire December 28 2017 from PONYO. PONYO then sent me a message on my talk page stating that I can't edit under any account or IP as long as my main account is blocked. My main account was snake dude. Now the reason why PONYO,s statement makes no sense is because snake dude was blocked April 4 2016 and the span of April 5-April 13 I was allowed to edit so just now he's saying that.

Decline reason:

Your Snake dude account is indefinitely blocked, and while it is blocked you are not allowed to edit logged out from this or any other IP address - it might be technically possible for you to edit because IP addresses are not blocked indefinitely as they can be reassigned to other people, but you are not allowed to do so.

You need to do what Ponyo told you, and request unblock from your account. I see talk page access was revoked for User:Snake dude, but I have reinstated it so that you can make an unblock request. So log in and make your unblock request at User talk:Snake dude. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 17:05, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Problems

edit

One little problem, I forgot my password for Snake dude. Anything I can do about it Your response is highly appreciated and help.

Can you remember the password for any of the sock accounts you created? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:44, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Yes I remember the password for only 1 of the accounts 97.103.101.202 (talk) 18:47, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Which account is it? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:48, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
The highest authority is the accounts name 97.103.101.202 (talk) 18:50, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I suggest you log in and make an unblock request at User talk:The highest authority. In that request, explain that you cannot log in to User:Snake dude because you have lost the password, and that "The highest authority" is the only account whose password you still remember. You should provide a link to this page so a reviewer can see how we got to this stage, and you should also list all of the accounts that you have used. I can't guarantee that you will be unblocked, but I can't really think of any other option. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:57, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I did log in, however talk page access on the highest authority is also revoked so I can't make a unblocked request97.103.101.202 (talk) 19:10, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've restored talk page access at User talk:The highest authority, so you can now make your unblock request there. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:16, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Oops sorry about the signature i changed it please give me back my talk page access my signature is good now97.103.101.202 (talk) 19:44, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

OK, talk page access restored again. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 19:53, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Arbitrary heading

edit
Please don't keep copying these here - they're of no value towards unblock, and any admin can see your block history. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:43, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

i am copying them here because I want to put more detail about my block incidents. The block log gives very little reason.97.103.101.202 (talk) 18:48, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

As I say, these things you are posting here don not offer any information that an admin will need other than what they can see for themselves. Please trust me, as an admin with a lot of experience in handling blocks and unblocks, that I know what admins need to see to review an unblock. (Also, you don't need to start a new section for every reply). Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:50, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Well I need these block reports for my records97.103.101.202 (talk) 18:52, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Well please keep your records somewhere else, as cluttering up talk pages that admins are trying to review is not going to please them. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 18:58, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
