You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create an account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without an account, your IP address (98.230.189.67) is used to identify you instead.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

editHello, I'm Qpalzmmzlapq. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Auburn Tigers football without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- I saw you made an edit that blanked a section so that's why all your edits were reverted. I noticed you are trying to be constructive. Sorry about reverting. Go ahead and restore what I reverted if you want to. Qpalzmmzlapq | talk | contribs 00:23, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! UW Dawgs (talk) 00:08, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
Moving the starting QB navboxes inside of collapsible templates
editYou aren't supposed to be doing this, as these are meant to belong outside of any collapsible templates, since they can (and will) one day be removed. This also pertains to roster navboxes, so I'm reverting them all back. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 23:46, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
