editHello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- I already posted to your talkpage. I do believe you've made a mistake as the link is equally appropriate as the other 13 in the article. In addition you removed a second link which has been in the article for years. 99.237.197.118 (talk) 20:37, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
Hi, the Fight of the Year should be placed in "Championships and accomplishments section" which already stated on the sub section "World MMA Awards". thank you. Cassiopeia(talk) 07:36, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Cassiopeia: This isn't consistent across all MMA articles. Look at Gray Maynard and Forrest Griffin as examples. There are many others which include them in the record infobox along with "of the night" awards. Why are you singling out Frankie Edgar? 99.237.197.118 (talk) 08:10, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I have removed the info from Gray Maynard and Forrest Griffin, many editors do not the know and add them in. The note section on the fight table is about the fight of the event of "the day" which means we would put "xxx missed weight" "performance of the night (UFC), fight of the night (UFC), fight result overtune to NC due to xxxxxxx" of that sort. However, for award from other organization we place them on the "Championships and accomplishments section". Hope this clear up the confusion. Stay safe and best. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
