sockpuppets
editCould you check on User:Commander Phralson too please? Slrubenstein | Talk 10:55, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Now I'm offended. I helped you out, Slrubenstein, and how do you repay me? Accusing me of sockpuppetry? Bah! Das ewige Jude --Commander Phralson 11:00, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

editCongratulations on passing your RfA! That's a nice image, you seem to be a good photoshopper :-). I redesigned my talk page... but then I got sick of the cat, so I blanked it :-P.

Reminder
editCongratulations on the sysop bit! Just a friendly reminder: after deleting a page, remember to also delete all redirects to the page and to delete the talk page and even the talk pages of the redirects. Optionally, you can also remove all links to the deleted page if any exist. Don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions. Again, congrats. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:24, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm back!
edit=) After a long wiki break, I apparently forgot the password to my account. So, I finally got my pass back through the email address I apparently forgot. >.<(Which I finally remembered.) =) Shindo9Hikaru 21:15, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Ps: What's been happening since I was gone?

editThank you for your comments. Everything you say may be true, but it is largely irrelevant. The truthfullness of or verifibility of the claim to notability are largely irrelevant to the question. I am discussing a speedy deletion on the basis of CSD A7 which reads "An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not state why its subject is important or significant. No other types of articles are included. This is distinct from questions of notability, verifiability and reliability of sources." The issues you raise are relevent for PROD and AfD, but not speedy deletion. Dsmdgold 10:45, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Yorkie poo afd
editExcuse me, but since when was the consensus of four established editors overturned to a complete keep by two users? I might be able to understand a no consensus result, but calling it a keep based on a distinct minority of user's comments is not a good judgment. When closing an AFD it is your duty to enact the consensus (or lack thereof) already present in a discussion, not make a ruling based on your personal opinion on whether to keep or not. Personally, since I have been off-wiki and I certainly had a response to the last keep, I do not feel the discussion was complete. VanTucky (talk) 15:08, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Yorkie poos. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. VanTucky (talk) 15:17, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
MFD for the "Image"
editJust a quick look. WP:MFD may be the right place. @pple complain 07:54, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- OK thanks - I'll try that. I had actually considered that before, but I was really looking for a speedy-delete approach rather than an possibly lengthy XfD discussion, about what I felt should fit within a CSD criteria. Anyway it is now listed at the WP:MFD page here. Thanks. --T-dot ( Talk/contribs ) 12:22, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well it looks like it was speedy-deleted anyway not long after posting to MfD, so mission accomplished. --T-dot ( Talk/contribs ) 13:55, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Eternity Rites cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Eternity Rites cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Nice comment...I'm honoured :) Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 09:07, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, that comparison is even more honouring. I'm over it...I saw Mr X (can't remember if you know the story or not) today and nothing was said, so I get the feeling it's all over. Which is good, time to write more noms! :p Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 09:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

editThank you for your appreciation! (If you still remember it!) I wrote about the same things i would like to read myself, and i'm glad if anyone liked them and found them valuable - and i suppose the thing's i wrote about would be hard to find if you can't red any of the scandinavian languages; in the same way, i hoped others would like to wrote about the same things from their countrys! Wikipedia is fun, but it is also, i discovered, too easy to be dependent of, and it takes too much time. As a thank you for your appreciation, i will make some new contributions today, (or, at least, start some articles that perhaps others will someday finnish!) but as it seems today, i don't think i will be back as an active member. But again, thanks for your kind words! --Aciram 13:11, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

You're current signature, @pple: complain, made me laugh. It just highlights the fact that most messages decent users get are others complaining about one thing or another, or abuse of some kind. Happy editing ;-) Lradrama 14:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC) |
Hi. Can you have a look at this please? I was trying to get it to FA by Nov 2. Hopefully for the main page. Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Arrest and assassination of Ngô Đình Diệm. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 06:54, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
