References
editRemember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:50, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your help with the menstrual cycle page. I was just wondering if you had any suggestions for secondary sources for my group's (BD441, BF2510 and I) contributions. We have had a look but are struggling to find any besides the ones we have already used. We are focusing on effects of menstrual cycle on eating behaviours, mating preferences and shopping habits. We would appreciate any help. Thanks AH2960 (talk) 15:17, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
ISBNs and page numbers
editPlease provide these here [1] Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:22, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
Please be aware that Menstrual cycle is what we call a WP:Featured article. This means that it is currently at a very high level of quality. The community works hard to maintain the high level of quality of FAs - if too many poor edits are added the FA status can and will be challenged and the article will be demoted. Every article in WP can be improved of course, but the article you have chosen to work on for your class has a very high bar that new edits need to cross.
Also please do be aware that any content about health needs to be sourced per WP:MEDRS.
Good luck! Jytdog (talk) 19:32, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comment. We are aware that is a featured article, but unfortunately it is too late to change the page we are contributing to. However, we shall try our best to follow the wiki rules so we are improving not worsening the page! We are currently in the process of trying to track down any more secondary sources that would help us with this. If you have any suggestions, we would appreciate the help. We are focusing in particular on the effects of menstrual cycle on eating habits, shopping habits and mate preference. Thanks again. AH2960 (talk) 15:22, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
