License tagging for Image:FFS Indonesia 1991.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:FFS Indonesia 1991.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:05, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I'd like to see Gender#Gender and development expanded, in case you have thoughts on that, or know some good material/links to add. I think it deserves its own article. --Singkong2005 talk 04:14, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow!
editI just looked at the agricultural extension article for the first time in a few months, and I was blown away by how much you had improved it. I'm going to nominate it for good article status. ike9898 02:22, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Regarding the recent GA review. I made many of the suggested changes. So, I think if you can deal with the problems specific to the 'communication' section, the article will be ready. I already tried a little re-writing of this section, so you might want to look and see if it still makes sense. ike9898 18:39, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- I really appreciate what you have been doing! I am buried in work right now, but intend to tackle the communication section ASAP. APB-CMX 16:06, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Dramatic Chipmunk
editThe article Dramatic Chipmunk has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 02:43, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
There are an awful lot of Internet "viral phenomena", most of which get speedily deleted as separate articles. You'd need to be able to cite reliable sources showing that this one is specifically notable in and of itself, as opposed to being just another Internet meme. If you can do that, feel free to repost. NawlinWiki 16:38, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Repurpose
editA tag has been placed on Repurpose requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --moreno oso (talk) 04:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- The issue is that SchuminWeb has also deleted the article Woob itself per WP:CSD#A7. That made the album article eligible for speedy deletion as well. You should contact him directly about it. If you can't agree on a direct restoration, you can either go to deletion review or ask for restoration to your userspace. In any case, the articles need reliable sources in the light of WP:MUSIC.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:59, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello, please see my posts concerning the deletion of Woob found on SchuminWeb's unprotected talk page User talk:SchuminWeb/Unprotected talk page CoKlaComa (talk) 17:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

External links
editHello, Please see the external link guidelines. Wikipedia is here to create an encyclopedia, not to provide a link farm of external links.
In a nut shell, the external links should be limited to 1) the official site of the subject of the article (since the Extensions of the article are generic and not a specific program there is not an "official" site to include for that article) 2) sites that provide additional encyclopedic content about the subject that for some reason cannot be included in the article. 3) each link should provide a unique resource of encyclopedic information that is not found in the article or in a more comprehensive appropriate external link. If you have more questions, let me know.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 20:26, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Sombath Somphone with Desmond Tutu.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Sombath Somphone with Desmond Tutu.jpg, which you've sourced to Shui-Meng Ng. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dianna (talk) 00:43, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Notification of automated file description generation
editYour upload of File:Bartlett - Pha That Luang - Vientiane.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:FFS Nepal.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
