Welcome!

edit

Hello, ASPL LEADER, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Speedy deletion nomination of User:ASPL LEADER/sandbox

edit

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:ASPL LEADER/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. – robertsky (talk) 19:50, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Done. Thank you. Sorry for the misunderstanding. ASPL LEADER (talk) 20:06, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

UNBLOCK REQUEST

edit

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

Being new, i attempted creating the page using my sandbox initially thinking of using it to test. However, i was informed/warned by an admin @AntiDionysius, who suggested i create the page using my userspace and show it to him or any other admin to proof read AND also change my username given the apparent COI. I was in the process of moving the deleted content to my userspace before changing my name when i got blocked. Apparently i should have changed my username first. I have submitted a new username and i hope its accepted so i can finish working on my article and remove certain things after reading Wiki Policy and also give to @AntiDionysius when done. Thank you. Decline reason:

Note that any editor may assist you with proofreading, not just admins. (you seem to be referring to the pre-written message posted on your user talk page) Your username is not the only issue here- your draft is wholly inappropriate for Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a place for companies/organizations to tell about themselves and what they do. That is considered promotional here, you don't have to be actively soliciting or selling something. A Wikipedia article must summarize what independent reliable sources say about topics that meet our special definition of notability. Please see conflict of interest and paid editing("paid editing" includes employment). You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about topics for which you have a conflict of interest. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a more general contributor and editing about other topics, please tell what those might be in a new request. I am declining this one. 331dot (talk) 07:29, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
