Good article, bad flag

COR, the flag.

There is a terrible flag at 2nd Canadian Regiment and American Revolutionary War that I wonder if you could fix. Both of those articles are pretty good, but this is not too pretty. It actually breaks the American Revolution article. If you have hover previews on, hover over this American Revolutionary War and see if the unimaginably confusing COR flag appears, as if that flag represents the article as it's the first [File] image to be placed in the article.

Maybe you know how to put it into a Template:Flagdeco format and fix this thing? I don't even know where to start. If so, it needs to be inserted into the said articles and then there is additionally the French flag, without a border and impossible to make out. I like to saw logs!
