Template on the Enlightenment

edit

Sure go ahead, add what you want mate. Add as much as possible. I would try to make the template better myself, and try to clean it up, add a few more additions of it myself, but school work is being quite the thorn in my side (be glad you never wasted your life with Applied IT).

Cheers mate, --Jazzwick 21:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

No no, that'd be much appreciated. Anything to improve it would be great. --Jazzwick 21:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ah, can't do it myself yet, but if you want, you can edit the template here... Good luck!--Jazzwick 22:34, 23 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Right, I'm not going to be able to start this, I seem to have no time at all. Sorry mate. --Jazzwick 18:37, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your comment on my comment

edit

I would like to notice humbly, that I stated facts. But your personal opinion on my comment is a personal attack, since it presents not facts, but your personal understanding on what's going on as it comes from a man who knows nothing about my dispute and history of realtions with user Ilgiz. Moreover, perhaps you should look at Evgeniya Albats article to see what user Ilgiz is doing covering it by Wikipedia policies. Would you mind not editing my comments? If you consider it as a personal attack, then compare it with what Ilgiz himself is writing about my edits in Albats article, for example. If you decide to label thing A a personal attack, perhaps you should label thing B, which is far more strong, a personal attack too? Besides JCR memebers do not usually interfere in MCR matters, right? Which college are you from?Vlad fedorov 17:45, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, fella. Never mind. Anyway, maybe I had been too strong too. I just compare what my supervisor required of me in citing sources in my thesis, with what these KGB-obsessed guys write about Russia and have my hairs on legs stand. I am from Somerville, which is on Woodstock Road (St.Giles, St, John's college almost opposite).Vlad fedorov 18:04, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Russian apartment bombings

edit

Hello, AVlosad. In March 2007 you took part in discussion over the topic and provided an English translation of "counter-arguments" to the FSB theory. Unfortunately I didn't read the discussion enough carefully, that's why I provided my own English piece on that based on the Russian text, before learning about your translation. But you are welcome to make ammendments to the current version (I'm pretty sure for chemical terms, though), or just you are welcome. ellol (talk) 21:10, 27 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:RUSSIA roll call and your input required

edit

Privet. You are receiving this message as you were listed on the membership list of WP:RUSSIA at Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members. Recent times has seen minimal activity within WikiProject Russia, and there is an attempt to re-invigorate the project and have it become more organised into a fully-fledge functioning project, with the aim of increasing the quality of Russia-related articles across English wikipedia.

As we don't know which listed members are active within the project and Russia-related article, all listed members are receiving this message, and are requested to re-affirm their active status on Russia-related article by re-adding their username to Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members by adding:

# {{User|YOURUSERNAME}}

to the membership list. You may also like to place {{User Russian Project}} on your userpage, as this will also place you in Category:WikiProject Russia members.

There is also an active proposal on the creation of a single WP:RUSSIA project. The proposal can be viewed at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Russia#Proposal_for_overhaul_and_creation_of_a_single_WP:RUSSIA_project, and your comments and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia/Proposal.

We all look forward to your continued support of WP:RUSSIA and any comments you may have on the proposal. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 04:41, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:FatalEggs.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FatalEggs.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:47, 7 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:58, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:57, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Nestofthegentrycover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:39, 28 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
